Masomo Education Foundation, a Canadian based not-for-profit corporation) invites students who are committed to contributing to the development of Zambia to apply for the 2018 Masomo Education Foundation Scholarships.

Masomo’s aim is to improve Zambian technical capacity in fields such as agricultural science, technology, engineering, mathematics and business.

General Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • be Zambian citizens residing in Zambia
  • be enrolled at an institution of higher learning (or been accepted at such an institution) to study a discipline that contributes to Zambia’s development as outlined above
  • write a statement (between 500 and 750 words) that is clear about the candidate’s objectives and motivation to make a contribution to the development of Zambia
  • provide the most recent academic transcripts
  • provide three written references, at least one of which should be by persons who have taught the candidate within the last two years.

Masomo scholarships are typically tenable for a period of two years although this period may be extended at the discretion of the Board of Directors, based on performance.
