This is to inform newly admitted and returning students of the Zambian Open University (ZAOU) that the academic programmes and activities of the University, for the 2021 academic year, are running uninterrupted in accordance with the sessional dates approved by the Senate.

The closure of the Universities announced by the Government does not affect the running of our programmes because ZAOU’s teaching and learning system is based on eLearning systems such as Moodle Learning Management System, ZOOM Classroom, Astria Digital Library (ADL) and Student Record Management System (SRMS). It does not require physical or in person gathering of students for lectures.
